Byron David of The Kiwanis Club of Conway Presents $25,000 Check to Mayor for New Playground
Attorney Byron David of The Kiwanis Club of Conway was featured in The Horry Independent this week for the club’s funding of a new playground. David presented a $25,000 check to Mayor Alys Lawson, used for funding the existing composite play structure at the Conway Recreation Center Complex. The playground will remain accessible at completion. Installation should being in July or August 2014. The Kiwanians have pledged $25,000 towards the project with annual installments of $5,000 each of the next five years. Way to go, Kiwanians!
